For over 35 years, I have painted landscape outdoors, most recently in Vermont and Tuscany and from my own back yard overlooking neighbors roof tops and trees. I strive to capture the true hues of light and shadow given the season and time of day. I paint quickly with gestural marks before the scene changes completely.
